ST Electronics (Info-Comm Systems)’s SPRINT Software Programmable Radio (SPRINT SPR) is designed to deliver voice and data (with maximised battery life) over the most demanding and mobile ad hoc environment. It is specially developed with programmable hardware platforms to provide network-centric capability, flexibility, upgradeability and versatility suited for dismounted military/para-military use in urban terrain, unmanned platform systems, unmanned sensor systems, etc.

The SPRINT SPR provides realtime position tracking and timely reporting of all radio nodes on a network. For effective and efficient decision making and mission planning, the product uses IP compliant protocols which allows for easy interfaces with IP standard applications to ensure seamless connectivity to tactical networks.
